Greetings from our Youth Instructor, Liam Robertson
Hello! I have been training at Aikido of Petaluma with Bob Noha Sensei for over 13 years. I’m a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Aikido and have trained around the country and in Japan with some of the direct students of the founder, in addition to the Aikido Headquarters in Tokyo. My experience with these notable teachers in Aikido has shown me how generous and life affirming this art can be, and how to apply the benefits of practicing Aikido towards enhancing our character, and becoming more socially connected. Plus, training in Aikido is a lot of fun!
In addition to teaching Aikido, I’ve been an arts educator for over 20 years in Music and Theatre working with many varieties of students. I believe Aikido is an art for everyone, and promotes better harmony in ourselves and what we bring to our environment. I’ve worked with students ages 3 to 83,  who have had a variety of different educational pathways and needs. My style of teaching is to promote an environment that is inclusive, accessible, and engaging for each student. I hope you’re able to join us!
