Bill’s Birthday – continued
Here is Bill Misson, our oldest Aikido student and Sensei’s second oldest student (Sensei has a t’ai chi student in his 90s). Bill is shown here doing some jiwa waza with Sasun Torikian.

One of the students at our Aikido school had a milestone birthday he celebrated with us on Saturday, January 15th. He turned 80 years old.
Sensei gave bill the mat and he taught the class as a way of honoring the day. To say that it is admirable to see someone at Bill’s age rolling around and throwing people with such ease is a gross understatement.
It is a beautiful and wondrous thing to be able to train with someone with Bill’s experience.
Happy birthday, Bill! You certainly deserve it.
Kyu Testing Saturday, 12-18-2010
1st and 5th kyu tests will be held this Saturday, 12-18-2010. A short class will begin at 11:30am and testing will begin around 12:00pm. Please come and support the testing candidates.
